RN/LPN – Full-Time Overnight Nurse for Young Adult + 1:1 Care + 4 weekday nights
About The Position
Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an RN or LPN for full-time overnight care for a young adult in the Bloomington–Normal area. This role offers the opportunity to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care for the patient in the comfort of their home. Unlike facility nursing, you will have the time to understand one patient’s needs, follow an individualized plan of care, and build a meaningful relationship with the patient and family. This position is ideal for nurses who enjoy working independently but are seeking a break from large patient assignments, constant call lights, and the fast pace of facility nursing. New graduates are encouraged to apply as paid, hands-on case-specific training is provided.
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN or LPN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Dependable and compassionate approach to care
- Comfort working independently in a home environment
- Interest in providing one-on-one pediatric nursing care
Nice To Haves
- Previous private duty nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the home
- Monitor your patient’s condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform case-specific nursing skills
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Follow the patient’s individualized plan of care
- Communicate with the family and Castor clinical team
- Complete accurate nursing documentation
