RN/LPN/CNA – 1:1 Private Duty Care

Castor Home Nursing is seeking dependable caregivers and nurses to provide one-on-one care for a young adult in the Chapin area. At Castor Home Nursing, we believe care should be personal. In this role, you will provide 1:1 care to a young adult in their home. Evening and weekend shifts are currently available, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible scheduling, relationship-based care, and the ability to focus on one individual’s needs.
Requirements
- Current Illinois CNA certification or LPN/RN license, as applicable
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient-centered
Nice To Haves
- Private duty, home care, or complex-care experience is a plus, but training may be provided based on the needs of the case
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support personal care, comfort, safety, and independence
- Observe and report changes or concerns to the appropriate nursing or clinical team
- Complete accurate electronic documentation
- Provide compassionate and respectful care
- Provide individualized skilled nursing care according to the patient’s plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor and document the patient’s condition and any changes
- Assist with medical equipment and other skilled nursing needs as appropriate
- Communicate with the patient, family, and Castor clinical team
- Promote the patient’s comfort, safety, and independence
