About The Position

Forrest City Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving Eastern Arkansas and its residents with physical therapy, radiology imaging, and women’s center. Forrest City Medical Center is a 118 bed Acute Care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN and less than 90 miles for Little Rock, AR. This is a PRN Tier I position requiring one 12-hour shift per week, with a premium Tier I PRN differential added to the base hourly rate.

Requirements

• Registered nurse licensure to work in the State of Arkansas.
• Requires an associate's degree in nursing.
• Minimum of one year Women's Services experience required.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
