About The Position
The RN in the Labor and Delivery unit is responsible for providing high-quality care to prenatal patients and their newborns during labor and delivery. The position involves managing the unique needs of each patient, following hospital policies and procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Experience with high-risk deliveries and immediate newborn care.
- NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Circulating experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care during labor and delivery, including high-risk cases.
- Perform immediate newborn care and support mother and family post-delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal conditions using electronic monitoring equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
