About The Position
Labor & Delivery and Nursery RN with couplet care experience for a rural community hospital in Hawaii. The facility handles approximately 45-50 deliveries per month. This position involves 72-80 working hours every two weeks. An additional $2.00/hr. will be compensated when assigned to charge nurse duties. The nurse may be required to float to assist other departments, but not as a primary nurse.
Requirements
- Current Hawaii RN license.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery settings.
- Proficiency in intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring.

- Couplet care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients.
- Monitor fetal well-being using intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
- Assist in delivery and post-partum care of mother and newborn.
- Float to assist other departments as needed, without primary patient care responsibilities.
