About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift assignment in Sweetwater, TX. The RN will provide compassionate and high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience managing laboring patients, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Strong maternal and fetal assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor
- Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and patient needs
- Maintain accurate patient assessments and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and clinical protocols
