About The Position
Provides expertise in vascular assessment, deciding on appropriate device for patient specific needs. Provides PIV for difficult access, inserts Midlines and EJ devices when needed. Provides a teaching environment at bedside as needed.
Requirements
- ADN or BSN from an accredited school of nursing or university required.
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the Alabama State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification required.
- Recent nursing experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Current role as IV RN preferred.
- Extensive experience with all types of vascular access devices preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, time management and critical thinking are expected.
