They are hiring for Full-Time Night Shift Registered Nurses, New Graduate RNs, Weekender RNs, and Assistant Nurse Managers (ANMs) for their Neurological Institute. The institute is a global leader in treating and researching complex neurological disorders, performing advanced brain and spine procedures with innovative technology. Caregivers support patients with conditions like epilepsy, brain and spinal tumors, and skull base disorders. The New Graduate RN Surgery Resident - Neuro/Spine OR role offers a supportive environment with a residency program and mentorship for new graduates to gain expertise in perioperative care. The RN Surgery - Neuro/Spine OR role involves working with a specialized surgical team, performing scrub and circulating functions, and preparing the OR. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN experience
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• If performing moderate/procedural sedation must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 6 months of hire.
• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability).
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating functions.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
