About The Position

The Surgical and Procedural (S&P) Services - Clinical Nurse (CN) delivers patient care within the surgical and procedural areas through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics. Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three major hospitals and proudly serves as the flagship facility for the Central Valley. Requirements

  • Graduation from a school of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing qualifying for state licensure required
  • RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
