Requirements
- Graduation from a school of nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing qualifying for state licensure required
- RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Preferred RN PICC Experience
- Proficiency in PICCs insertion and maintenance.
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Serve as a resource to patients and families, offering education on PICC care and maintenance.
- Perform precise PICC line insertions using best practice guidelines.
- Administer drugs including procedural sedation
- Monitor patients' vital signs and patterns during procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being throughout the process.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
