About The Position

Overlake Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Interventional Medical Imaging (IMI). This nurse will work in IMI performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside modality technologists (e.g., CT, Ultrasound) and interventional radiologists. The role involves patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery, ensuring seamless communication across the care team for safe and efficient care. This RN will also be cross-trained to provide relief Charge RN coverage and support scheduling and staffing needs. The position is 0.9 FTE, equating to 72 hours bi-weekly, with 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current WA state RN license or Multistate RN license.
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of procedural sedation, critical care, or ED RN experience required.
• BSN preferred.

Nice To Haves

• IV sedation experience preferred.
• Prior Interventional imaging RN experience is preferred.
• Cardiac experience is highly desired for coverage in CT and MRI.
