About The Position

The RN Inpatient Rehab protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of Registered Nurse licensure. The role collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to coordinate care across the continuum, assesses and supports patients’ physical symptoms, and provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families. The RN mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains a professional disposition. The position works in a hospital unit providing 24/7 care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required before the employment start date.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience as an RN in a rehabilitation care setting.
• Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft applications.
