RN - Inpatient Rehab Unit (Full-Time- Days)
About The Position
This is a full-time day shift position for a Registered Nurse (RN) on an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. The role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a team, and excellent communication skills. The nurse must be able to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers with a strong customer service focus. Strong assessment, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. The nurse must also be able to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, the interprofessional care team, patients, and their families.
Requirements
- Current RN License
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1-2 years med-surg nursing experience required
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a strong customer service focus
- Strong assessment, organizational and problem-solving skills as evidenced by the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components required
- Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, interprofessional care team and patients, and their families
