RN - Inpatient Dialysis

About The Position

This is a 100% FTE position for an Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse. The role involves a day/night shift rotation, with required work every other Saturday and occasional Sundays for emergent dialysis needs. On-call responsibilities are also part of this position. The nurse will travel to multiple locations/hospitals in the Madison area, with the primary location being University Hospital in Madison, WI. UW Health offers competitive starting pay, considers relevant work experience, and provides shift/weekend differentials.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
• ACLS within 6 months Required
• PALS within 6 months Required
• Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• Relevant RN Experience Preferred
• Relevant certification Preferred

Responsibilities
