About The Position
This is a 100% FTE position with a day/night shift rotation, requiring every other Saturday and occasional Sundays for emergent dialysis needs. On-call responsibilities are included. The role involves travel to multiple locations/hospitals in the Madison area, with the primary location at University Hospital in Madison, WI. UW Health offers competitive starting pay, considers relevant work experience, and provides shift/weekend differentials.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire
- Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire
- Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit
- Relevant RN Experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- ACLS within 6 months
- PALS within 6 months
- Relevant certification Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient dialysis care.
