This is a part-time PRN position for an Infusion RN at Atrium Health Cleveland. The role involves engaging in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Key responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, collaborating with the care team, and upholding a culture of safety. The position requires continuous evaluation of patient, team, and unit outcomes, with appropriate action taken as needed. The RN may administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to protocols. Effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution are essential for fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation. Professional development, continuing education, and maintaining certifications are expected. Ethical decision-making, respecting interdisciplinary roles, and contributing to integrated, unbiased patient care are also crucial. The role involves appropriate delegation to other nursing staff and maintaining accurate, timely EHR documentation. Floating to other units, departments, or facilities may be required. The RN must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for the age of the patients served, including understanding growth and development principles and assessing age-specific needs.
