About The Position
Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse for an infusion role. The nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with weekends required on a rotating basis.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Georgia RN license in good standing without limitations.
- American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- Additional life support credential (such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP) or other clinical specialty certifications relevant to specific units.
- Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan professional nursing care for patients.
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
