About The Position
Parkside Care, a Caldera Care facility, is seeking an RN Infection Preventionist. The role is responsible for infection control monitoring, tracking, and prevention. The Infection Preventionist makes frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff follow facility policies and procedures, redirecting or educating staff as needed, and ensures core infection-control principles are observed. The role may also perform other tasks as directed by the DON. The listed pay range is $50.00–$58.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- First aid and CPR certifications.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year in a supervisory role in a skilled nursing setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
