About The Position

Monitors hospital for possible infection outbreak. Implements and maintains plans and procedures concerning control measures as set forth by the infection control committee. Identifies and initiates isolation protocols and informs the appropriate state and county organizations of any reportable diseases. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Requirements

• Certified as a registered nurse.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• 1-3 years nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous infection control experience preferred.
