The RN II – Ambulatory provides and coordinates individualized, evidence-based nursing care in partnership with the child, family, multidisciplinary care team, and appropriate community resources. The RN II manages a designated patient population, provides education and care coordination, and promotes continuity of care across services. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the RN II is responsible for the development and management of an assigned program or specialty. This includes establishing and evaluating program goals and objectives, supporting day-to-day operations, providing staff education and training, maintaining program documentation, and collaborating with leadership to develop policies, procedures, and initiatives that support program objectives.
