About The Position

The Surgery department at St. Mary-Corwin offers a variety of service lines including ENT, General, Ortho/Spine and Urology. Robotic-assisted total knee and hip replacements are an exciting addition to our orthopedic service line. We have eight ORs, three endoscopy suites and a perioperative unit consisting of 23 pre/post beds. We average 45 surgical cases per week, and 15 endoscopy cases per day. We strive to maintain safe, high-quality care throughout the entire surgical and perioperative experience. Perioperative and operative nursing is an exciting venue of nursing that focuses on the safe preparation, procedure, and recovery of patients. This requires broad knowledge base, critical thinking skills and flexible skillsets. Requirements

Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
One year experience preferred
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs

Responsibilities
