About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide nursing care to all patient populations within the department. This role involves utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, maintaining regulatory compliance, and assuming responsibility for the outcomes of nursing care. The RN will also guide and direct unlicensed nursing personnel, contribute to safety outcomes, and promote a high-quality patient experience. Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred
- Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department

- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
