RN - ICU, Days (Cypress)
About The Position
Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in delivering patient care using the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with examinations and treatment, educating patients, and maintaining medical records. The role is in Memorial Hermann Cypress’s 20-bed ICU, which has hospitalists available around the clock. The team is described as closely connected, flexible, and nurturing, with opportunities for staff input as the campus grows and an open-door policy that encourages access to leadership. The ICU has a Gold Beacon designation from AACN.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current Texas license, temporary license, or compact license to practice professional nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience classification: RN I, less than 1 year; RN II, 1–3 years; RN III, 3–10 years; RN IV, 10 or more years.
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
