About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the Neurovascular Intensive Care Unit, providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members. The RN will be expected to manage a varying patient ratio depending on acuity and staffing, utilizing equipment such as ventilators, EVDs, and CRRT, while documenting care in the Meditech system.
Requirements
- Current active RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience in an ICU setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the NVICU.
- Perform procedures such as insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions.
- Float to Med/Surg if staffing needs require.
- Participate in self-scheduling with adherence to the minimum weekend requirement.
