About The Position
Spencer Hospital is seeking a skilled and caring Registered Nurse (RN) for its Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Requirements
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems.
- IA RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire.
- One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience.
- New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU.
- Assuming responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
- Collaborating with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
- Having knowledge of and utilizing appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
