About The Position

The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered. The Intensive Care Unit ICU has 20 beds and is a busy medical/surgical unit. They perform CRRT and utilize AHN TeleICU. Common diagnoses include pulmonary, GI, surgical, GU, post-partum, pregnancy > 20 weeks gestation, and psychiatric. The renal ICU has received the silver-level Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
