About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 220-bed hospital serving the communities of northern Utah. The hospital offers a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable patient experience. A new Weber Campus in Roy provides emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The location offers access to outdoor activities and is minutes from Hill Air Force Base.

Requirements

• Two years clinical RN experience required
• BSN required within 2 years of hire
• RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• PALS or ENPC required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer
• Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

• 1-year clinical leadership experience, preferred
• MSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical resource person in delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes.
• Provide competent leadership and direction for all hospital Codes and emergency management.
• Act as agent for department and hospital executives when they are not present and reports concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.
• Coordination and direction of safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital by providing a communication link with ED, patient registration, LIPs and nursing units.
