The RN - House Supervisor will supervise and coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. This role involves assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during the assigned shift, and contributing to performance evaluations. The House Supervisor will assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, addressing any issues that affect desired patient outcomes. They will also respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels, and may provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating staff.
