About The Position

St. Catherine Hospital Dodge City is a Joint Commission accredited 99-bed hospital that serves as a regional referral center for southwest Kansas. Acute care is at the heart of what we do. St. Catherine Hospital Dodge City provides health services that include diagnostics and interventional cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. We combine patient-centered care with modern technology and medical expertise to treat a wide range of medical conditions. Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus! The House Supervisor is responsible for coordination and direction of safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital by providing a communication link with ED, patient registration, LIPs and nursing units.

Requirements

  • Two years clinical RN experience required
  • BSN required within 2 years of hire
  • RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • PALS or ENPC required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year clinical leadership experience, preferred
  • MSN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as clinical resource person in delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes.
  • Provide competent leadership and direction for all hospital Codes and emergency management.
  • Act as agent for department and hospital executives when they are not present and reports concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.
