About The Position

Lead the assigned clinical unit by directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff to ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional, high-quality patient care and achieve established clinical objectives. Optimize patient care delivery and resource allocation by independently assessing daily patient needs and distributing assignments to guarantee safe, population-appropriate care across the unit. Manage complex patient and team dynamics, setting critical priorities and serving as the primary point of resolution for patient care concerns to maintain a stable, professional, and patient-first care environment. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, proactively identifying and addressing issues that affect desired patient outcomes and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to the future strength of the team by providing essential input on the hiring, training, and professional development of nursing and support staff.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
