About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 220-bed hospital serving the communities of northern Utah. They offer a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable patient experience. They recently opened a new healthcare facility, the Weber Campus, offering emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The House Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital by providing a communication link with ED, patient registration, LIPs and nursing units. This role serves as a clinical resource person in the delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes, provides competent leadership and direction for all hospital Codes and emergency management, and acts as an agent for department and hospital executives when they are not present, reporting concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.

Requirements

  • Two years clinical RN experience required
  • BSN required within 2 years of hire
  • RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • PALS or ENPC required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year clinical leadership experience, preferred
  • MSN preferred
