About The Position
Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor for a part-time position. This role offers the opportunity to advance your RN career within a 5-star hospital environment. The position involves working two 12-hour shifts per week and every third weekend, with hours from 6:30 am to 7:15 pm. This is a bargaining unit position.
Requirements
- IL Nursing License
- BLS
- CPR
- ACLS
- PALS
- Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance
- Good writing and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Associate Degree Nurse
- Requires a degree with 2 years of RN clinical experience
- Licensure: Illinois RN License in good standing.
- Vaccinations: Per IDPH, CDC and CMS.

- Patient Care Equipment
- Typing – Continuously >67% of time
- Reaching, twisting, bending – Occasionally up to 33% of time
- Standing – Continuously >67% of time
- Sitting – Occasionally up to 33% of time
- Carrying, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 35 lbs. for females, and 50 lbs. for males, without assistance, rarely <6% of time.
- Good Vision to perform visual assessments, inspections and alarms needed for patient care, continuously >67% of time.
- Good Hearing to perform audio assessments, inspections and alarms needed for patient care, continuously >67% of time.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience of a minimum of 2 years in Critical Care
- 1-year in Supervisor Role
- Supervisor experience in Nursing preferred.
- ACLS & PALS or ENPC (within 1 year)
