About The Position

We are seeking a House Supervisor to join our team of passionate patient caregivers! Duval Regional Rehabilitation Hospital at Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL) is a modern, 48-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving the greater Jacksonville area. The facility is dedicated to helping patients regain independence following serious illness or injury through individualized rehabilitation programs led by experienced clinical teams. Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy supported by advanced medical oversight. Requirements

• Current state Registered Nurse license required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience required.
• Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The House Supervisor is responsible for administrative supervision of nursing services on the assigned shift.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel to maintain continuity of patient care.
• Provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
