About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 220-bed hospital serving the communities of northern Utah. The hospital offers a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable patient experience. A new healthcare facility, the Weber Campus, was opened to meet the needs of the growing population, offering emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The location provides access to outdoor activities and is close to Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Hill Air Force Base.

The House Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital. This role serves as a communication link between the ED, patient registration, LIPs, and nursing units. The House Supervisor acts as a clinical resource, provides leadership for hospital Codes and emergency management, and represents department and hospital executives in their absence, reporting concerns to the designated administrator on call.

Requirements

• Five years clinical RN experience required
• BSN required within 2 years of hire
• RN License to practice in Utah as applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• PALS or ENPC required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer
• Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

• 1 year or ICU or ER experience preferred
• 1-year clinical leadership experience, preferred
• MSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical resource person in delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes.
• Provide competent leadership and direction for all hospital Codes and emergency management.
• Act as agent for department and hospital executives when they are not present and reports concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.
