This role is a Special Weekend Option, night shift position Saturday-Sunday and either Friday or Monday, 6pm-6am. Requirements

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) required or relevant experience.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership experience (charge nurse or above), strongly preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, management, and oversight in the absence of administrative and management staff.
  • Facilitate patient flow.
  • Expedite patient placement.
  • Consult on emergency situations.
  • Address any challenges or concerns in collaboration with relevant departments or administrative personnel.
