About The Position

The Administrative House Supervisor has 12-hour shift responsibility for supporting the staff in all departments in daily operational functions, clinical functions, and bed capacity management. Also has fiscal responsibility to ensure that department budget constraints pertaining to staffing guidelines are met. Coaches, mentors, and advises staff in coordinating and facilitating services which ensure high-quality care, cost-effectiveness, superior patient experience, and compliance with regulatory standards. Represents hospital administration in coordinating hospital-wide issues of concern and appropriately notifying the administrator-on-call as indicated. Maintains current knowledge of hospital-wide operations. Facilitates positive, collaborative, and cooperative relationships between hospital.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Current CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of recent nursing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
