About The Position
Corewell Health is hiring an RN for its Home Care Skilled Nursing Team serving the Big Rapids and Evart areas. The Visiting Nurses Association provides home care in west-central Michigan. Nurses visit patients in their homes, where they can receive personalized care and take an active role in their health. Assignments are designed to be close to home and typically include 5–7 patient visits per shift. Under the direct supervision of the Nursing Manager and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Nurse uses clinical judgment to assess and implement patient treatment plans. The RN assesses and monitors patients, detects changes, plans care, and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems or medical treatment. This is a full-time day-shift position, scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every fourth weekend. Corewell Health offers up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required within five years.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Michigan driver’s license required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
Responsibilities

- Provide home health nursing care to patients in the Big Rapids and Evart areas.
