About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. This 38-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit specializes in Medical Oncology, High Dose Chemotherapy with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant, CAR T Cell Therapy, Administration of Chemotherapy, Biotherapy, and Monoclonal Antibodies, Surgical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Administration of Radiation Therapy, Hematologic Disorders (Sickle Cell Crisis, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia, Thrombocytopenia), and Continuous Cardiac Monitoring (Telemetry). The unit serves patients ranging in age from Adults to Geriatrics.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an Accredited Program.
  • Specialized field of study should be nursing.
  • RN license.
  • Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with various oncologic and hematologic conditions.
  • Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and monoclonal antibodies.
  • Monitor patients undergoing High Dose Chemotherapy with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR T Cell Therapy.
  • Provide care for patients receiving radiation therapy.
  • Manage patients with hematologic disorders.
  • Perform continuous cardiac monitoring (telemetry).
