Hillcrest Hospital’s 3 West Tower General Surgery/GYN Oncology Surgery Unit is known for their outstanding communication skills, caregiver engagement, community service and top-quality patient care. This unit cares for adult and geriatric patients undergoing general, breast, gynecology, pancreatic/liver, and urology surgeries. This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position will work 48hrs within a 6-week schedule. The varying hours can be between 7:00am and 7:30pm or 7:00pm and 7:30am.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
External applicants: two years of recent related nursing experience.
Will consider military RN experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval.
