About The Position

As a Registered Nurse in our Oncology Clinics, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients facing cancer and hematologic conditions. We are seeking an Oncology Clinic RN. You will be working at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. This is an 80% FTE position, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with no weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Requirements

• Graduate of school of nursing
• 6 months of RN experience
• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Relevant Inpatient RN experience
• Ambulatory experience
• Relevant oncology experience
• Chemotherapy experience
• Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills
• Certification in specialty area of practice

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing advanced therapies including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, CAR-T cell therapy, and other supportive treatments.
• Perform targeted assessments during in-person visits, telephone triage, and through our online patient portal.
• Participate in ongoing professional development with access to specialized oncology education and training opportunities.
