About The Position

Join Cleveland Clinic’s annual Flu Program and play a vital role in protecting the health and safety of our caregivers and patients. This temporary opportunity is perfect for RNs who are committed to making a meaningful impact during flu season. We are currently hiring: Registered Nurses (RN) at $37/hour. Location Support: While all caregivers must be available to work at Main Campus, there are also opportunities to support flu clinics across a variety of regional locations, including: CCAC (Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus), Hillcrest Hospital, Fairview Hospital, Avon Hospital, Medina Hospital, Marymount Hospital, Euclid Hospital, Lutheran Hospital and South Pointe Hospital. Shift & Schedule Details: A minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week is required. Main Campus hours: 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (8 or 10-hour shifts). Regional locations hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (8-hour shifts). Partial shifts are not permitted. A limited number of Saturday shifts may be offered (dates/hours TBD). All selected candidates must attend mandatory orientation: Location: Beachwood Administrative Campus. Date: Friday, September 25, 2026. Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) prior to hire.
• 2 years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
• Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
• Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.
• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
• Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: active or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and /or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
• Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• You will be required to comply with this program, which will include obtaining an influenza vaccination on an annual basis or obtaining an approved exemption.
