About The Position

Join Cleveland Clinic’s annual Flu Program and play a vital role in protecting the health and safety of our caregivers and patients. This temporary opportunity is perfect for LPNs who are committed to making a meaningful impact during flu season. The role involves supporting flu clinics across a variety of regional locations in addition to the Main Campus. A minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week is required, and partial shifts are not permitted. A limited number of Saturday shifts may be offered.

Requirements

Must have Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio.
Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) prior to hire.
Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
You will be required to comply with this program, which will include obtaining an influenza vaccination on an annual basis or obtaining an approved exemption.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.

Responsibilities

Performs clinical activities which include administering vaccinations.
Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees.
