About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Internal Agency Nursing Pool, working part-time (24 hours weekly) on nights (7pm-7am) exclusively on weekends. This role is benefit-eligible and may include a sign-on bonus for external candidates. The Internal Float Pool Nurse is responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. They will provide intermediate-level care to patients in various inpatient units based on staffing needs. The Internal Float Pool consists of seasoned, experienced nurses who can work on any inpatient unit requiring additional staffing. Nurses must have a minimum of two years of recent acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting and be proficient in PCU and Neuro care. Critical Care and Emergency Department experience are welcomed.

Requirements

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
BLS for Healthcare provider required upon hire.
ACLS for Healthcare provider required upon hire.
NIHSS certification required upon hire.
PALS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 1 year of hire).
Minimum of two (2) years previous nursing experience required.
Minimum of two years recent acute care nursing experience in the hospital setting.
Must be PCU and Neuro competent.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in intermediate level of care preferred.
Critical Care and Emergency Department experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

Work every weekend and receive PREMIUM PAY for WOW shifts.
