About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Internal Agency Nursing Pool (WOW! - Weekend Only Nights). This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am) and weekend-only work. This role is benefit-eligible and may qualify for a sign-on bonus for external candidates. The Internal Float Pool Nurse is responsible and accountable for direct, comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. This nurse will provide intermediate-level care to patients in various inpatient units based on staffing needs. The Internal Float Pool consists of seasoned, experienced nurses who can work on any inpatient unit requiring additional staffing. They report to a specific supervisor for guidance and are allocated to the greatest need in the hospital by House Managers.

Requirements

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
BLS for Healthcare provider required upon hire.
ACLS for Healthcare provider required upon hire.
NIHSS certification required upon hire.
Minimum of two (2) years previous nursing experience required.
Minimum of two years recent acute care nursing experience in the hospital setting.
PCU and Neuro competent.
PALS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 1 year of hire).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in intermediate level of care preferred.
Critical Care and Emergency Department experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities
