About The Position

Join Baylor University Medical Center (Baylor Dallas), part of Baylor Scott & White Health, as a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool. Baylor Dallas is a patient care, teaching, and research center in Dallas, Texas, with 914 licensed beds and more than 20 medical specialty centers. The Float Pool serves fast-paced units with high-acuity patients and provides staffing across Med/Surg, Tele, ICU, and PCU. Patient ratios vary by unit. The team offers a supportive environment that encourages learning, mentoring, professional development, and taking on new tasks.

The position is full-time nights, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The successful candidate will provide nursing care across assigned units and must pass a telemetry test if hired. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 2 years of Med Telemetry experience in an acute-care inpatient hospital setting.
• Must pass a telemetry test if hired.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Float Pool experience is highly desired but not required.
• Med Telemetry candidates with experience in insulin, stable drips, and NIH assessment are highly desired but not required.
