About The Position
As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you’ll become an integral part of a highly engaged team providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate and welcoming environment. As part of our site-based float pool (SBFP), you will have the chance to float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, gaining diverse experiences while providing quality care. Requirements
- One (1) year of RN experience.
- Current CA RN License
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- One year of acute Medical/Surgical RN experience
- Telemetry or Progressive Care experience
- Other Certifications: CMSRN, NIHHS Stroke Certification, ACLS
- Epic EHR working experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress towards expected outcomes.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and support for patients and their families.
- Take primary responsibility for patient care, guiding the Care Team under your supervision to foster a team-oriented approach.
