About the Role As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you’ll become an integral part of a highly engaged team providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate and welcoming environment. Requirements

  • One (1) year of RN experience.
  • Current CA RN License
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • One year of acute Medical/Surgical RN experience
  • Telemetry or Progressive Care experience
  • Other Certifications: CMSRN, NIHHS Stroke Certification, ACLS
  • Epic EHR working experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress towards expected outcomes.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and support for patients and their families.
  • Take primary responsibility for patient care, guiding the Care Team under your supervision to foster a team-oriented approach.
  • As part of our site-based float pool (SBFP), you will have the chance to float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, gaining diverse experiences while providing quality care.
