About The Position

Could you be our next RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) at Lankenau Medical Center? Our RNFA’s are highly respected for their role in the Operating Room! As an RNFA, you would serve as the Surgical First Assistant by directly assisting the surgeon with positioning, prepping and draping the patient, controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing, mobilizing tissue, and directing other surgical staff. Specialties include but are not limited to: General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, etc. Develop and Grow Your Career! Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of experience in perioperative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.
  • RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Completion of a recognized RNFA Program (proof of verification required).
  • PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
  • Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
  • ACLS required.

  • CNOR Certification within 12 months
