About The Position

The RN Evening Supervisor is a nursing leadership role responsible for supervising nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible. The position emphasizes staff growth, teamwork, resident care, and compliance with privacy guidelines, company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws. Requirements

• Associate’s degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required.
• At least one year of nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
• Valid state license.
• One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One to three years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and others for whom the employee is administratively or professionally responsible.
• Adhere to and oversee communication of privacy guidelines concerning residents’ protected health information.
• Participate in or conduct company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of protected health information.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and state and federal law.
