About The Position
The Medical Telemetry registered nurse provides direct patient care, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to assigned patients in the Medical Telemetry. The registered nurse is supportive, compassionate, efficient, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and who collaboratively maintains plan of care for the highly vulnerable patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current California RN license
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS Certification
- Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire
- NIHSS within 90 days of hire
- Recent Acute Care experience in Telemetry.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
